SERVICES
Understanding the Process
Initial Consultation
At Fellgrove, we offer a free initial consultation, either on site or remotely, prior to any work commencing. This allows us to understand your proposal, identify potential planning and environmental constraints, and discuss the most appropriate route forward. We take a transparent, straight-talking approach and will flag any likely risks or limitations early on, so expectations are clear and there are no surprises later in the process.
Instruction Stage
Following the initial consultation, and once the brief has been clearly defined, we will issue a fee proposal outlining the scope of services required.
This may include planning support, ecological assessment, arboricultural input, or a combination of disciplines, depending on the site and proposal.
Where surveys are required, these will be undertaken by Fellgrove or by suitably qualified specialists working closely with our team.
Once the scope is agreed, we prepare and coordinate the necessary planning and environmental documentation to support your application. This may include ecological surveys, arboricultural reports, planning statements, and supporting assessments as required by the Local Planning Authority.
We work proactively to ensure submissions are proportionate, policy-led and clearly presented, and we liaise with Local Authorities throughout the determination process.
Where conditions are imposed, we also assist with the discharge of conditions and ongoing compliance.
Ongoing support
Our involvement doesn’t end with submission or consent. Fellgrove remains available to provide advice throughout the project lifecycle, including during pre-commencement, construction and post-approval stages.
We understand that the planning process can feel complex and, at times, overwhelming — our role is to guide you through it clearly, calmly and efficiently/
